Love it! The lap timer is great for swimming. Only bad thing is it is more lavender color than light pink like I thought. Very sturdy, durable. Love it.

I initially liked this watch. However after several months the pink coloring on the bezel started chipping off. A year later and its more chipped off areas than pink areas and it looks terrible.
I also developed contact dermatitis from the rubber band. Careful if you have latex/rubber allergies.

4 Stars Good running watch
So far I am happy with this watch. Note that this particular model is gray/pink, rather than black/pink. The numbers are large and easy to read, though as a consequence the watch face is rather large. I use the chronometer frequently when running. The lap/split button is large and easy to access. It is easy to review the split times afterwards. When setting the watch, you can go forward or backward, which saves time for small backward adjustments. If you don’t use all of the features (all three alarms, etc.), you change the settings so that they don’t appear when you cycle through the functions with the mode button. Reading the manual will save time in learning how to use the various features, but most are fairly intuitive. The band is comfortable. I cannot speak to the longevity or water resistance of this watch.

My husband never has a watch last longer than 6 months without breaking and this is now 18 months in use and still in great condition. Wonderful item that is durable and lasts a really long time.

. . . but not by you or a jeweler — you have to send it and ten bucks to Timex. You can contact the company at timex.com or call them.
My problem is that the receiver which attaches to the iPod is small and easy to lose. Replacing it costs $15 last I checked. It also had a very limited range, and apparently took a lot of juice from the iPod battery. A fun geek toy, but not terribly practical for me; attempting to use it while driving resulted in more than a bit of frustration from pushing the wrong button.

Pro’s; Cool iPod & iPhone controls (works with my 1st gen iPhone). Lightweight watch. Multiple timezones. Good water resistance. Easy to read display and cool lighting. can also connect it to your stereo and sit on the bed and use this as a remote- very convenient!
Con’s; Can’t fast-forward through songs by holding the skip button (owell no big deal). And the plugin the iPod/iPhone is kind of big, it’s sort of a pain to use with an armband- which is why I wanted it in the first place because you can’t really use the scrollwheel or change the volume through the plactic cover of my armband – (but they have newer different armbands with a plugin space at the bottom so problem solved!)

I didn’t see anything in earlier reviews on the watch size – I think the face is a good size for a guy, and the band appears to be sturdy. I was worried it might be too skinny for my wrist like some of the watches I saw at the store, but this one is fine. The downside is that I don’t think I can change out the band myself when it wears out.

Absolutely no complains with this watch. Unlimited intervals, countdowns and multiple times are working great for training, multiple alarms to keep you on time, the resin strap does not keep water at all and the watch overall looks great. If there is one thing – the notification beeps could be louder. Overall – Highly recommended.

As characteristic of most Timex watches, the T5H721 is a highly functional device that enables the wearer to perform a variety of functions from simple count-up timing to appointment reminders and historical workout data storage and recall. My sole issue with this watch is its rather bulky size; I have a large wrist and the watch still feels cumbersome to wear especially during athletic events. Not very sleek as the name implies, but quite versatile none the less.

I’ve used a number of different watches in 11 years of endurance running events and triathlons, including several different versions and evolutions of the Ironman watches by Timex. The “sleek” model became my favorite a couple years ago. The large face makes it very easy to read while on the run, the curved body makes it easier to get a shirt sleeve over than many other large-body watches, and the four corner buttons plus center-bottom button make control of functions easy.
